Marette grew up in southern Minnesota on a farm and at a young age developed a love of horses, country life, and travel. She has worked as a missionary, an author, musician, and teacher, and has a teaching ministry online. Jim and Marette operate a corn & soybean farm and enjoy using their lake home in Wisconsin to sponsor Women’s retreats and is a place where missionaries and preachers can go to renew and find quiet time.

Marette has a degree in Composing and Performing and a Master’s degree in Theology.  She loves to tell stories and that is her preferred teaching style.  Along with writing books and recording CDs, Marette’s passion is sharing with others where God has brought her from, and how God has led her through the struggle we all face in life. She would consider her greatest accomplishment to be the love and respect of her friends. Jim and Marette have three grown children and 2 grandchildren.  They also have a myriad of friends whom they have walked through life with and consider family.

Connect with Marette on YouTube, Facebook, and at special OSHC events!
