Marette Jorgenson is no stranger to OSHC and we’ve already grown to love her and be encouraged by her. She has traveled as a missionary, is an author, musician, teacher, and now has a teaching ministry online. Her former cabin and now a lake house in the northern Wisconsin lake country have become a place to host Women’s retreats. The Jorgenson’s have long provided a place where missionaries and preachers who need some “time out with God” can go and be blessed. Marette loves to tell stories and that is her preferred teaching style. What moves her heart is her love for people and her ability to communicate who God is and what He is doing in everyday life. She and her husband, Jim, have three adult kids: Addlea married to a farmer in Illinois, Tyler, finishing out his seminary experience in Johnson City, Tennessee, and married to a gal who compliments him greatly in his musical passion, ministry goals, and love of outdoors, and the youngest, Baihley, a school psychologist, lives on the farm and runs the horse ministry, loves animals of every kind and can be heard laughing a long ways off!
